“It’s been one of our stalwart top-sellers at DollyLeo for months with savvy beauty buyers from Canada, United States, Japan, China, Malaysia, Australia and the United Kingdom (to name a few), all going cuckoo for Suqqu’s Eye Blend palette.
“As always with Suqqu the packaging is unassuming, modern and functional but within are treasures to behold across the entire range. I think the popularity of the quad eye palette is its superb quality, malleability and downright effectiveness at creating sexy day and evening eye make-up looks. I find that the palettes suit most skin tones as they’re so easy to manipulate to create a look to suit.”

“The high quality pigment gives the finished eye make-up look longevity and looks expensive. I’ve used the 06 Ginbudo palette during a bridal make-up job as it belnded so beautifully. I’d be reluctant to use a quad on a bride, normally because it can look heavy and overdone but with Suqqu’s product, you can be as subtle or as dramatic as you like.
“A little trick I’ve used in summertime with the 06 palette is to brush on a little dab of the bronzy shade onto cheekbones over a bronzer for a proper Hollywood look. Any product that has versatility or a dual function in my book is a winner – hence why we have so many fabulous little double-uppers in the online store like Becca’s lip and cheek crème, the beach tints and RMS Beauty’s wonderfully adaptable pots.
“One of my eye make-up trademarks is to use a little powder on the outer area of the lower lid, I think it helps for a smokier look and I do this a lot with the Suqqu blend colours. Probably one of the luxury brands we’re most proud to offer, to DollyLeo customers, is the bespoke perfume line by fragrance emperors – Profumum Roma. DollyLeo founder, Sadie Jean Sloss, explains why she cherry-picked Profumum for her customers.

“I sometimes find fragrance shopping to be tiresome on the high street, with so many brands to choose from, it can be hard seeing the woods for trees. As a self-confessed beauty product ‘junkie,’ I’ve gone through numerous fragrances over the years and before I found Profumum, I really struggled to find one that held my attention.
“When I first encountered Profumum fragrances, I found them to be quite magical and extremely evocative. As a fan of romantic scents, I was drawn to Confetto and Dvlcis in Fvndo – also the sweetest scents in the range.
“Confetto reminds me of warm almonds and has a very sophisticated, yet suitably romantic feel; it’s definitely one of our female customers most popular perfumes.
“There is something quite special about my personal favourite, Dvlcis in Fvndo. A very chocolate, vanilla scent, it takes me back to being a little girl in a sweet shop, overwhelmed by the deliciously tempting smells around me. Some of my friends would say this perfume is my signature.
“Profumum is a family company, established in 1996 in Rome by Celestino and Lucia Durante. The Durantes were inspired to create the finest fragrances to ignite memories and to celebrate the art of reminiscing. I feel that they certainly achieve this and more.
“I also love that the range is intended as unisex, which means that fragrances can be enjoyed and shared by couples, adding to the romantic factor! However, upon sampling, some fragrances are acutely masculine, such as Patchouly or completely girly like my favourite.
Profumum, Roma
Each fragrance comes chicly bottled in glass and can be decanted for fans of atomisers or used as a mist spray. With around 43% pure parfum in each exquisitely presented bottle, these fragrances are at the top end of the perfume market and unlike anything you will come across on the high street today. Which is why they make such special gifts. Some may hark at the £135 price-tag, but a quick look on the world’s most respected fragrance blogs and websites will reassure anyone of their real value.”

“As a fan of natural, fresh beauty looks I’m always looking for products to enhance rather than mask. Japanese brand, Suqqu, is one of the many brands I’ve cherry-picked for DollyLeo for its innate ability to brighten skin and bring out the best in what’s already there without ever feeling or looking too heavy and overdone.”
“Like most girls, I love lipstick and have a vast collection of them with various finishes, textures and in all shades under the sun. As a professional make-up artist I am lucky to have access to many wonderful brands, but I’ve always struggled to find a lipstick that I truly love and stick to. In seeking out the perfect pout I look for colour, texture, finish and staying power. All the while, trying to keep it feeling light and natural. Maybe I’m asking too much!?
“Undoubtedly, Suqqu are the ideal lipsticks for me. Their light, balmy texture is nourishing and lipstick glides on easily and streak-free without crumbling. In winter when my lips are especially dry, this product is a great comfort, even on sore, chapped lips. Coverage is the perfect balance between a sheen and full cover and the colour is as it seems in the stick. The colour finish is subtly sheen yet stain-like – with the incredible colour palette on offer it’s hard to stick to one shade. My favourites are number 1 and 16. They suit my pale skin perfectly without feeling boring and make me want to play up other areas of the face.”
Suqqu Glow lipsticks are fabulous during the day and at night. I find that I want to dress up my eyes more with this lipstick – it’s so natural and dewy that you never feel too made-up. I’m not a fan of heavy eye make-up and a full lip colour.
